As many of you should know the Fs shuv is quite simple. I learned in an hour! In the long run this can make harflips and tre heels easier. You definetly need to know your Bs shuv and a Fs 180 and have them consistent. If you dont know these then your gonna be skrewed trying to learn the Fs shuv.
FOOT POSITIONING: Have your front foot hanging of the toe edge just a little. It sould not be hanging off as much as a Fs 180 or heel flip. Also have it a millimeter behind the bottom 2 bolts. The reason for this is so you can help shuv it Fs with the front foot. Have your back foot in a begginers Fs 180 position with the ball and toes of your back foot on the heel side part of the tail. This will help shuv the board Fs.
MOTION: Lean back and bend down a little. You don't need to pop very much just shuv it. Scoop your back foot forward and guide your board Fs with your front foot. As your doing it jump backwards and land.
PROBLEMS: Ah, the worst part of a trick-problems. First of all this is an easy trick and you shoud conquer your problems quickly if you know the tricks you should know. But anyways here are some TIPS.
NOT LANDING WITH THE BACK FOOT: This is mostly all of commitment problems. Like I said land Bs shuvs first they will help commitment with the back foot. If you know Bs shuvs this should only take you 10 tries to get over it. It also could be not jumping enough backwards where knowing the Fs 180 comes in place.
LANDING WITH FEET POINTING TOWARDS NOSE: I know this sounds gay put if you practice this trick enough this problem will be a thing of the past.
THE BOARD FLIPS (THIS IS NOT BECAUSE OF YOUR FRONT FOOT HANGING OFF) : This is because of landing with front foot landing in a bad position making the board flip. This is VERY easy to fix once again simply by practice.
