aww, man, for someone who looks like he just got his re-productive organs shot for good, he’s doing a damn good job at not crying.

I got Funny Bones from a comedy club. (called The Funny Bone) I thought it sounded like a good skater name so I stole it and started screening boards with that name above a pair of skeletons skating. Turned out to look pretty sick on a board. :)

What I mean is, without trying to actually do the flip, just pretend. Stand stationary on your board. Rest your tail on the ground, then slowly roll your foot up the board, then flick it off the side like your doing the flip. Do this a few times to get the motion of it down. Then go for the actual kickflip, and all you gotta do is the motion you were just practicing. Hope that makes sense, it might be a little hard to understand. Other advice that I could give you is visualize your self doing it, stay relaxed and don’t beat yourself up for not being able to do it. Keep trying and it will start to come more naturally. Good luck, bro.

Some people might take advantage of their park and say it sucks wishing for a bigger one, but the skaters in my town would love to have any sort of designated area to skate. Even as small as the one in the video. Leas... more >

make sure you can ollie good and high first. it’s basically the same motion as an ollie but your foot rears off. Go watch some trick tip videos if you can find some. Watch the way someone does one, and when you attempt it, just visualize the person doing the kickflip you just saw. Keep your body leaning a little forward. Good luck and don’t sweat it if you don’t get it for awhile. It’s a hard trick and takes time.
