Congratulations to the first ever Gear4aYear BMX winner, Colin
Varanyak, as well as second and third place finishers, Steven
Donohue and Spencer Foresman!
It was extremely difficult to pick just one winner out of these
three, not to mention the other 100+ video submissions!! In
the end, along with your votes, the brands had to choose just one
person and Colin was it.
The whole goal of this contest is to give one rider a
stepping-stone to help them move forward in BMX. Too many
good riders go unnoticed because they live in the wrong area, or
don’t know the right people. We are proud to say that each
and every video that you all entered was watched and given a fair
chance…from 100+ videos, to our top 10, and finally our top 3.
We want to thank everyone that entered, voted, or just watched, as
well as all of our sponsors including: GoPro, Armourdillo, United,
etnies, Nixon, Demolition, and Bern. This wouldn’t be
possible without them or all of you!
