(5:49) Xcorps Action Sports Show #20.)"XPO"-seg4- This high rolling Xcorps episode doses the viewer with host Eric Ducharme riding the rare Randal motorized skateboard and features a cool Xsports event called the Extreme XPO all powered by new music and video from one of our favorite bands- Primus. The show opens with a skate jam at a local Encinitas Ca parking lot with Eric The X Guru fueling up the unique Randal mid engine motor board. Not sold in stores and with only 60 made in 1995 by Randal, known for their high speed skate trucks, this rare board rocks with a 27cc shaft drive motor, centrifugal clutch and Randal skate trucks. Great on board POV shots here as Eric demo rides this very cool board wide open. Hear how he rates the rig. Next the show rolls back in time to 1997 to the Del Mar California fairgrounds and an event produced by the X Guru called the Extreme XPO. This huge indoor/outdoor Xfest illustrates how our producers were way ahead of the times by featuring sports like mountain boarding, freestyle BMX with Ryan Nyquist on his Haro along with half pipe action on inline skates, bikes and boards and even a few words from host Jason Lazo at the start of his on camera TV career. Check a wacky pack race around the track with pocket bikes, 4 man Go Peds, Rollercycles, Fly bikes and Eric on a mini cart. Nice style Xman. Freestyle races rule especially with a mixed bag like this! After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with new Primus recorded live November 2004 at Chicagos Aragon Ballroom. Good to see Primus back onstage again. After the break Primus returns with more live video from their Hallucino-Genetics tour and a performance of the song Pudding Time backed by shots from local Encinitas skate jammers who can stick their moves. Meanwhile the XGURU takes a few more gas powered runs on his classic Randal motor board. The show wraps with some comedy from Primus and a theatrical look at band member Les Claypool in the year 2065 talking about their Woodstock 1994 gig! (1:05) Andrew LaPenna is the newest member of the Meanwhile Skateboards team. We met up with him in Nashville to skate at 2 public skate parks: Metro and Franklin. Andrew is so consistent at landing tricks I had to separate the Metro footage and the Franklin footage into 2 different video parts because he was landing more than falling. He's not the most tech skater out there but he can skate most any terrain at full speed and land rolling out smooth. Watch this video of Andrew from the Franklin skate park -- you'll see what I'm talking about. This footy is from Saturday August 9th, 2008. Andrew is from Chapmansboro TN, just turned 17 a few days ago and is looking for a shoe, wheel, bearings and truck sponsor. Cops love to give out tickets here. So I've decided to build some decent ledge boxes and we've invaded the the greenbelt (jogging/biking path that circles town). The ledges are just big enough to be a challenge (6' long by 12" tall and 4' long by 9" tall) but small enough to fit in the back of the van. We have no other options - we have to make our own skate spots... I never said we lived in Barcelona. This week we head to Falls Creek where Canada's Charles Reid took a clean sweep at the Stylewars snowboard event, winning both the 28 Stairs rail comp and the overall win. We then follow Reid to Perisher where he breaks the world record for longest rail slide, gliding in at an impressive 54.8 metres. Meanwhile US rider Chas Guldemond walks home 15-grand happier after claiming overall victory at the event. Lastly we head across to the States where Skuff's US correspondents Jordan + Claire get the dirt on Tony Hawk when they caught up with his mum (and the man himself) at a stop-off on his Boom Boom Huck Jam tour. So Bly, Frederick, and new team member Andrew LaPenna went out and we skated the Nashville public skateparks: Metro and Franklin. This footage shows only the new tricks Bly has not already shown in prior footage... no ABD's in this video. The new big trick he landed was the nollie flip down the Franklin TN 8 set. Took him 4 tries... As you can see by the nollie flip over the hip at Metro - his nollie flips have serious pop. So Bly stepped it up to the 8 set and pulled it Malto clean.
