(1:41) This footage of Bly Nantz is a bit older from early October 2007 when he was 14. There are three main spots he skates in this video: Nashville TN Metro Skatepark, Franklin TN Plaza, and the KWC area in Owensboro KY. We drove 2 hours down to Nashville to check out the Franklin Plaza for the first time. Bly got there and just threw down the backside flip without even ollie'ing the 8 set first. We didn't get to stay long as a friend's truck broke and we had to go back into Nashville to get him a new truck. We were at Franklin for a little over an hour. We the truck fixed and went to Metro (aka CWC). Bly hadn't been there since January of 2007 so he was really eager to skate the euro and hips. Again jumps out of the car and starts killin the place. Cab flip up the euro gap, tre haymaker up the euro. Metro was oddly vacant that day so Bly was able to hit a hip that you normally can't come at the way he did because if the flow of traffic. So he nailed 4 big spin double flips over the shallow hip - the one you are seeing was the cleanest of them. Bly kills tech street manuevers due to the fact that we have no skatepark in Ownebsoro KY so when he gets to go places and skate he's usually trying his tricks on new obstacles for the first time - and that's largely what you're seeing in his footythat I post here. (1:05) Andrew LaPenna is the newest member of the Meanwhile Skateboards team. We met up with him in Nashville to skate at 2 public skate parks: Metro and Franklin. Andrew is so consistent at landing tricks I had to separate the Metro footage and the Franklin footage into 2 different video parts because he was landing more than falling. He's not the most tech skater out there but he can skate most any terrain at full speed and land rolling out smooth. Watch this video of Andrew from the Franklin skate park -- you'll see what I'm talking about. This footy is from Saturday August 9th, 2008. Andrew is from Chapmansboro TN, just turned 17 a few days ago and is looking for a shoe, wheel, bearings and truck sponsor. So Bly, Frederick, and new team member Andrew LaPenna went out and we skated the Nashville public skateparks: Metro and Franklin. This footage shows only the new tricks Bly has not already shown in prior footage... no ABD's in this video. The new big trick he landed was the nollie flip down the Franklin TN 8 set. Took him 4 tries... As you can see by the nollie flip over the hip at Metro - his nollie flips have serious pop. So Bly stepped it up to the 8 set and pulled it Malto clean. (3:03) Xcorps Action Sports Show #17.)"JETBOARD"-seg2- The Xcorps talent team rolls into action again in this episode with Jason in Detroit jamming a local club with his band, Roslyn on the beach in California covering a skim board event, Bob test riding the revolutionary Jet Board and Eric putting on a huge extreme sports XPO in San Diego. The show opens with Jason in metro Motown talking about his band the Don Juan Invitation and the local music scene. Great original tunes here along with a special Xcorps tribute song. After that the camera shifts to host Bob Woodard at the XC test site at Irvine Lake California where Bob takes a look at a new way to ride the waves-on a Powerski! See how he does on his first ride on the board all pushed hard with a song and video from the Maverick Records band The Deftones. After break its over to Laguna Beach Ca where we find host Roslyn Bradle covering the niche fun beach sport of skim boarding or riding the waves that break on the beach. Laguna is all about the beach break and XC cams get lots of sweet skim moves by some of the best skim surfers out there all mixed up with music and shots from So. Cal based band LiT rolling their song. Roz talks with skim master and Common Sense band member Nick Hernandez about the history of the sport. The next segment rolls south to San Diego where host Eric Ducharme shows his skills at producing action sports events-this one called the Action Sports and Fitness Show held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Non stop big hucks here featuring huge air by skaters, mountain boarders and BMX freestylers pushing it to the beat from the chick Maverick band LilliX doing the old Romantics tune What I like About You.
