Xcorps Action Sports Show #12.)"LUGE"-segs1and2- Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling at a grassroots guerilla style gravity sports event we call The Barrett Junction Shootout featuring downhill luge, stand up skate board, inline speed skate and gravity bike racing held at Barrett Junction near San Diego Ca. Firestorms raged as gravity riders from around the world zipped on leathers, checked trucks and let it go at the IGSA sanctioned event organized by rider Frank Waterhouse who broke the course record on the closed stretch of highway not far from the Mexican border. Xcorps host Bob Woodard opens the show from San Diego riding the Speed Skater street luge equipped with the new SkateBrake.Papa Roach and Lo-Tel pump the action with X and Gravity Games winners like Rat Sult and the ever-loved Kludy pushing 60mph down the hair pinned and cliff edged coarse which offered no room for error. See riders in their best speed tucks and a sick head over heels wipeout by gravity bike rider Noah Rutherford who lives to tell the Xcorps cameras all about it. Inline speedskaters Dave Lambert and downhill champ George Merkert talk about their realm of the event and invite other skaters to go for speed while Donald Orlando shows off his 84mm 6 wheel skates he got up to 58mph! Nice. After that Xcorps guest host and gravity champ Rat Sult talks to the fiercest female competitor in the league Stacy Allen from Oklahoma and asks her how she got into the sport. Frank Homemade Waterhouse wraps the shootout with his thoughts, more race action and some powerful shots taken from space of the fires that surrounded the event closing all exit roads. Hosted by Bob Woodard and Jason Lazo this cool skate themed show rips big from the start with the Andale Tour Posse Danny Gonzales, Patrick Melcher and legend Steve Caballero pulling moves for the Xcorps HD cams. Also in the show is some great freestyle BMX action along with new music and videos from Suburban Noize bands KINGSPADE and the RIVE promoted band CLUTCH. The YMCA owned skatepark designed by Andy McDonald & California Skate Parks and features a monster X-Games donated vert ramp, a Tranny, Street, Vert Ramp and Mini Ramp included in the 40,000 Sq Ft of terrain along with a combi-style pool by Wally Holliday that to many is the best skate park pool built in SoCal! Great music backing the action here from Sub NoiZe label band XClan. Check. The action continues cut with the new Kingspade band video ‘Who Run This?’ Nice moves by all the skaters on the Andale team wrapping up a 12-city U.S. tour branding the Warner Bros Speedy Gonzales character. Local SD hombre John Tuisl rolls BIG in the combi pool-one sweet grind after the other! Then DRT entertainment and RIVE promoted band Clutch jams the blues with their song Electric Worry mixed with another set of Andale Tour skate moves.Bob sets up a sick new move by Steve Caballero. After relentless attempts see what made him a legend who is still pulling moves! Bob talks with Cab along with Danny and Patrick about the tour and the signature street board. After that its all Southern California with a 30-minute sunset squeezed to 20 seconds rolling with Kingspades song So Cal Weather. Nice fit. Also Xcorps HD cams hung at the park later in the afternoon to catch some sweeeet freestyle BMX moves by the locals to go with the tunes. XC host Jason Lazo phatens up the segment with a cutaway rap with the Kingspade boys- DLoc and Richter at their label in LA. See what they do at home to relax! This is rare stuff with Ray being only the 5th person on earth to jump El Gigante! Multiple camera and POV angles here to help you gut feel the 20 second fall down a rock face. Cal based band LiT rolling their song. Roz talks with skim master and Common Sense band member Nick Hernandez about the history of the sport. For the ultimate in ground rushes Ray and 5 loco amigo hombres from the States -Matt McClone, Jeremy Brice, Morgan Moert, Travis Meimann, and Dan Langstraat strap on parasails that look like small backpacks and launch themselves into the massive underground void where very few have gone before. Surreal action scenes here along with great tunes by Off by One, Drowning Pool and cool new breakout band from New England- Jediah all mixing well with the ambient cave audio echo. B.A.S.E. jumpers-Buildings-Antennas-Structures-Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep – a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. Surreal for sure! Watch those boulders when landing! There are no nearby hospitals. See how they get out. Xcorps host Bob Woodard rides a new skateboard from our friends at PHAT boards. Xcorps Action Sports Show #29.)"MIG-21"-seg2- The Xcorps goes ballistic in this special supersonic episode featuring host Jason Lazo strapping into a Russian MIG-21 combat jet fighter, host Rat Sult unleashing his new 500HP desert sand rod all powered by music from 4 new rocking bands! The show opens from Stead Air Field near Reno Nevada where host Jason Lazo is walking the line at Mig Alley called this because of the nest of Russian jet fighter aircraft parked there. It’s all about high performance on the Xcorps with Jason looking Top Gun sitting in the original 70s era Mach 2.3 cockpit. The Russian plane is known for its very high performance and terror factor to U.S. fighter pilots! Segment one warms up with some close up shots of the Red Star Squadron jet and some pre-flight briefing by X Rocket pilot Bob Ray who coaches Jason on the finer points of ejection seat etiquette. If the engine quits its time to leave-fast- since the plane nose-dives like a lawn dart without power! Jason checks out the thin wings and BIG engine, which jams the jet over 1300 mph wide open! Music by Downtown Records new band Eagles of Death Metal doing their song. Featured with the band in the vid are musician Dave Grohl and actor Jack Black. Hilarious! After that the JP5 fuel ignites with Jason in the MIG and more new tunes from the Maverick Records band Family Force 5 keeping it taught with their song Love Addict. Killer on board video and sounds of Xcorps Jason Lazo and pilot Bob Ray during full test flight maneuvers including 5G turns, 4-point barrel rolls and inverted loops with full afterburner. A new video from our friends at RIVE featuring the band Street Dogs. U.S. Iraq war vets make up the band and produced the video with their song Back to the World. Back our forces! The show opens with sweet guest host Crystal Fambrini at the coolest nightclub in San Diego-On Broadway-located downtown San Diego in a converted bank complete with bar in vault, 2 story ceilings and dancing girls moving on the marble to D.J. Kid Capri spinning discs. Xcorps cameras rolled all the fun a birthday party for Rams running back Marshall Faulk and amigo Rick Ahmuaha. Crystal then throws it to regular Xcorps host Bob Woodard on his fishing boat on San Diego Bay with Wakeworld.com Dave Williams and wake rider Chris Resnick. After the break the big air wake action continues from salt water bay to fresh water lake 25 miles north of San Diego on lake San Vicente where pro wakers Evelyn Zerr Nelson and Ricky Gonzales pull fast and hard behind the Wakeworld.com boat for the Xcorps cameras. It was a super clean day on the lake with Evelyn and Ricky pulling huge moves all shot from 2 boats, a camera under the H2O as well as insane POV shots from a camera attached to Evelyns wakeboard! Xcorps Action Sports Show #20.)"XPO"-seg4- This high rolling Xcorps episode doses the viewer with host Eric Ducharme riding the rare Randal motorized skateboard and features a cool Xsports event called the Extreme XPO all powered by new music and video from one of our favorite bands- Primus. The show opens with a skate jam at a local Encinitas Ca parking lot with Eric The X Guru fueling up the unique Randal mid engine motor board. Not sold in stores and with only 60 made in 1995 by Randal, known for their high speed skate trucks, this rare board rocks with a 27cc shaft drive motor, centrifugal clutch and Randal skate trucks. Great on board POV shots here as Eric demo rides this very cool board wide open. Hear how he rates the rig. Next the show rolls back in time to 1997 to the Del Mar California fairgrounds and an event produced by the X Guru called the Extreme XPO. This huge indoor/outdoor Xfest illustrates how our producers were way ahead of the times by featuring sports like mountain boarding, freestyle BMX with Ryan Nyquist on his Haro along with half pipe action on inline skates, bikes and boards and even a few words from host Jason Lazo at the start of his on camera TV career. Check a wacky pack race around the track with pocket bikes, 4 man Go Peds, Rollercycles, Fly bikes and Eric on a mini cart. Nice style Xman. Freestyle races rule especially with a mixed bag like this! After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with new Primus recorded live November 2004 at Chicagos Aragon Ballroom. Good to see Primus back onstage again. After the break Primus returns with more live video from their Hallucino-Genetics tour and a performance of the song Pudding Time backed by shots from local Encinitas skate jammers who can stick their moves. Meanwhile the XGURU takes a few more gas powered runs on his classic Randal motor board. Host Bob Woodard talks to Dave about his Xlete sponsor and what hes been up to. After the break the insanity returns with a near riot at the Volcom Nuts area and Bob stopping by the XLETE booth to talk to extreme athlete Rich Hopkins and Derrick Daigle. Xcorps Action Sports Show #13.)"WHEELMAN"-seg3- Bending the bounds of sanity this episode of the Xcorps rolls at the viewer at double blink speed with the usual action and music and a look at new products like the rim drive foot motorcycle from Australia called the Wheelman and a new skate board concept called Tierney Rides all tested hard by Xcorps host Eric Xguru Ducharme and Bob Woodard. Jason Lazo opens the show from Southern California’s extreme sports zone-Hollywood Sports Park in Bellflower. Using props from the film industry this sports park rolls large with vast paintball and skate zones along with BMX tracks, arcades and other sports fun. Eric enters the paint pens armed with a XC digi cam to record his own demise at the hands of local youth. Tunes and film from Rive Video Promotions with the band Benumb shoving back hard. Eric checks out the BMX track with local rider Danny Downey who tears the track and inverts his Haro at will. After the break Jason intros a new music video from Maverick records featuring the St. Louis band Story of the Year who kick the show up yet another notch! Then Jason opens the title segment with the new motorized foot motorcycle called the Wheelman. Introduced on a previous Xcorps episode the Wheelman is currently being distributed in the U.S. and our Xguru along with Gravity Games street luge champ Rat Sult are the first to ride the new hubless unit off and on road in this crazy segment. After that its back to Bob Woodard product testing a new way to skate on a 2 wheeled swivel truck board called Tierney Rides. B.A.S.E. jumpers-Buildings-Antennas-Structures-Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep – a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. Surreal for sure! Watch those boulders when landing! There are no nearby hospitals. See how they get out. Xcorps host Bob Woodard rides a new skateboard from our friends at PHAT boards. Guest host Rat Sult who is known in the industry as a bad assed nice guy has some fun as an Xcorps host giving details on subjects such as his protective leathers and how to roll without burning on a high-speed slide. Great shots here with Rat screaming by the cameras at close to 60 MPH on the rural So Cal hairpins. See dust fly as he cuts it too close and hits the rock wall.! New hip hop vid from the band WildChild doing their song WonderYears rolls this action. After the break Rat returns with some shots from his luge gold medal wins in the X and Gravity Games and a thro to a pimpin huge video from our pals at RIVE and SPV Records with the band Monster Magnet rolling out their song Unbroken Hotel Baby.
