WE DROVE MANY MANY HOURS FROM LETHBRIDGE TO VERNON. IT WAS HOT! THE VAN SMELLED SO BAD OF SKATER THAT WE HAD TO STOP AT GRANDE FORKS ALONG THE WAY TO AIR OUT THE VAN, GET A FEW BREWSKI'S, AND SKATE THE CRACT PIPE REPLICA THERE. WE DID MAKE IT TO VERNON LATE IN THE NIGHT AND ALL SLEPT SOUNDLY. THE NEXT DAY WE DEMO'D FOR OUR GOOD FRIEND ADAM AT DUNAS AND SWAM IN THE LAKE. AFTER THE SWIMMING WE DROVE THE LAST LONG DISTANCE LEG OF THE TOUR. AH, HOME SWEET HOME. OUR HOME DEMO WAS SLATED FOR THE LONSDALE PARK IN NORTH VANCOUVER. COLIN JOINED THE CREW AND STEVE LANGE REGROUPED WITH US. THANKS TO THE BOARDROOM FOR HOOKING THIS ONE UP. FROM HERE WE WILL GRAB A FEW NEW RIDERS AND HEAD OVER TO VANCOUVER ISLAND FOR THE LAST FOUR EVENTS.

Maverix Snowboard Podcast 33 - Rome & Burton Groms kill it (07:22)

It just goes to show that when you have the resources and the opportunity to get on snow at an early age you can accomplish great things. Maverix Snowboard Productions spent a couple of days with a crew of east coast rippers to see what they could do. We were not disappointed. The team was Kyle Mack (10yrs) with his brother Darren (6 yrs), Jacob Aaronsen (12 yrs), his sister Shana (10 yrs) and Jack Herald (11 yrs). These guys truly know how to ride with 7's being the flavour of the sessions. Already these kids have picked up sponsors like Burton, Anon, Oakley and Rome Snowboards. We cannot wait to see where these kids take it.
