(1:15) This morning my original plan was just to do a few speed runs and continue testing my new suspension from De Wayne Jones on the 200 ft. natural jump. When I headed towards the ramp on my 2nd speed run I just decided to go for it. It was a bit scary because after the first speed run the batteries went out in our radar gun so I had no idea how fast I was going on the 2nd speed run. I backed off quite a bit on the throttle. I hit the ramp in my usual low flying tucked position and soared 330 ft. and 6 inches. Little did I know at the time that the current 4 stroke World record was set by Ryan Capes in Australia and was 324 ft. So almost by accident I set a new 4 stroke world record today. < less

(5:43) WE DROVE MANY MANY HOURS FROM LETHBRIDGE TO VERNON. IT WAS HOT! THE VAN SMELLED SO BAD OF SKATER THAT WE HAD TO STOP AT GRANDE FORKS ALONG THE WAY TO AIR OUT THE VAN, GET A FEW BREWSKI'S, AND SKATE THE CRACT PIPE REPLICA THERE. WE DID MAKE IT TO VERNON LATE IN THE NIGHT AND ALL SLEPT SOUNDLY. THE NEXT DAY WE DEMO'D FOR OUR GOOD FRIEND ADAM AT DUNAS AND SWAM IN THE LAKE. AFTER THE SWIMMING WE DROVE THE LAST LONG DISTANCE LEG OF THE TOUR. AH, HOME SWEET HOME.
OUR HOME DEMO WAS SLATED FOR THE LONSDALE PARK IN NORTH VANCOUVER. COLIN JOINED THE CREW AND STEVE LANGE REGROUPED WITH US. THANKS TO THE BOARDROOM FOR HOOKING THIS ONE UP.
FROM HERE WE WILL GRAB A FEW NEW RIDERS AND HEAD OVER TO VANCOUVER ISLAND FOR THE LAST FOUR EVENTS.
