The show opens from Fontana Ca at the Cal Speedway where the Yamaha SuperBike Challenge is covered by host Jason Lazo. See 200MPH motorcycle runs here with Jason talking to riders Vincent Haskovik of team Hooters –yes the hooters girls are featured here as well. J also talks with rider Marty Craggill about the Zen of pushing the 200MPH mark. After that Xcorps Films presents part#2 in the B.A.S.E. series with segment host and psycho jumper Ray Murphy returning to the screen this time from Copper Canyon Mexico where he and his friends jump the 3000 foot cliffs of this remotely exotic location. This is rare stuff with Ray being only the 5th person on earth to jump El Gigante! Multiple camera and POV angles here to help you gut feel the 20 second fall down a rock face. See what Ray says scared him the most as well as the chopper skid drop high over their campsite all as close to the edge as possible. (6:38) Xcorps Action Sports Show #27.)"CABO"-seg3- Action sports in exotic locations is THE Xcorps and this show delivers both in high doses with sports fishing off Cabo San Lucas Mexico, Baja offroad racing in the desert and spectacular fire dancing at the Melia Cabo beach resort. The show opens with music from Maverick Records mega artist Alanis Morissette and XC front man host Bob Woodard in his element-on board captain Randy Hinton’s Cabo sportsfisher-the Incognito- heading out into one of the best fishing areas on the planet- the Pacific ocean at the end of the scenic Baja peninsula 1000 miles south of San Diego Ca. Check out the action with Bob and the crew hooking up to striped Marlin in grand Hemingway style! Included are underwater shots of the huge fighting fish along and many scenes of local wildlife such as jumping Grey whales and giant flocks of pelicans. Xcorps promotes tag and release in sports fishing demonstrated by Bob wrestling one of the underwater monsters one handed-getting the hook back and sending it on its way in the mile deep waters below. Music from the So Cal band The Dorados and their song “Hooked On Hookin Up” fits the action like a glove. This band knows their fish songs! The next segment rolls ashore and into the desert with Bob hooking up with Gala Ancona and Fernando Cancino from Baja Wide Open Adventures for some offroad race action. See the dust fly as Bob straps in and hits the test track with cool music and scenes from Les Claypool’s Frog Brigade “Buzzards of Greenhill”. Also here is an insane clip of XC host Rat Sult dragging his new V8 sand rod at Glamis dunes Ca. Another good fit thanks to the local Cabo buzzards and our friends at RIVE. After the break the action returns to the deck of the “Incognito” for more world class hookups with Bob and the boys landing and releasing 2 more Marlin for the X CAMS! After the sun sets its over to the resort for a special look at the nightlife in Cabo with Malabara-an exotic fire dance team-performing. Hosts Jason Lazo and Roslyn Bradle open the show from the beach in Santa Monica Ca where Jason talks about the south of the border shoot taken with a group of San Diego surfers. Follow them as they cross the border and head for Ensenada Mexico overcoming challenges such as a boat breakdown 10 miles off the coast. See how they eventually reach and ride the open ocean monster waves at a break called Killers! Also on this show we go to exotic Hawaii to the island of Maui to visit and talk with Pipeline surf legend Gerry Lopez who invited our cameras into his home and onto his surfboard! For the ultimate in ground rushes Ray and 5 loco amigo hombres from the States -Matt McClone, Jeremy Brice, Morgan Moert, Travis Meimann, and Dan Langstraat strap on parasails that look like small backpacks and launch themselves into the massive underground void where very few have gone before. Surreal action scenes here along with great tunes by Off by One, Drowning Pool and cool new breakout band from New England- Jediah all mixing well with the ambient cave audio echo. B.A.S.E. jumpers-Buildings-Antennas-Structures-Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep – a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. Surreal for sure! Watch those boulders when landing! There are no nearby hospitals. See how they get out. Xcorps host Bob Woodard rides a new skateboard from our friends at PHAT boards. Bob rolls the hills of Point Loma San Diego with the Hammerhead super wide track pushed by tunes from Drowning Pool. Cool board to see. Hear what Bob thinks of the ride. After that its back to Ray in Mexico going even bigger and some great shots from a cameraman hanging half way down on a rope. Is that what a falling body sounds like!
