(7:43) Xcorps Action Sports Show #14.)"BASE" DIRECTORS CUT- Those fearing heights beware -this episode of the Xcorps freefalls right over the edge with guest host and world class B.A.S.E. jumper Ray Murphy dropping into a 1200 foot glory hole in Mexico called Cave of the Swallows. For the ultimate in ground rushes Ray and 5 loco amigo hombres from the States -Matt McClone, Jeremy Brice, Morgan Moert, Travis Meimann, and Dan Langstraat strap on parasails that look like small backpacks and launch themselves into the massive underground void where very few have gone before. Surreal action scenes here along with great tunes by Off by One, Drowning Pool and cool new breakout band from New England- Jediah all mixing well with the ambient cave audio echo. B.A.S.E. jumpers-Buildings-Antennas-Structures-Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep – a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. Surreal for sure! Watch those boulders when landing! There are no nearby hospitals. See how they get out. Xcorps host Bob Woodard rides a new skateboard from our friends at PHAT boards. Bob rolls the hills of Point Loma San Diego with the Hammerhead super wide track pushed by tunes from Drowning Pool. Cool board to see. Hear what Bob thinks of the ride. After that its back to Ray in Mexico going even bigger and some great shots from a cameraman hanging half way down on a rope. Is that what a falling body sounds like! The show wraps with some sweet wakeboard shots- a preview of an upcoming Xcorps episode. Additional music by One Side Zero, Rolling Stones and Dr.Dre. Mucho loco! (3:12) Xcorps Action Sports Show #9.)"SUPERBIKE"-seg2- The Xcorps charges hard in this episode featuring high speed bikes ripping at the California Speedway, big air B.A.S.E. drops down in Mexico and dune machine madness in Glamis Ca all powered by high doses of fresh new tunes. The show opens from Fontana Ca at the Cal Speedway where the Yamaha SuperBike Challenge is covered by host Jason Lazo. See 200MPH motorcycle runs here with Jason talking to riders Vincent Haskovik of team Hooters –yes the hooters girls are featured here as well. J also talks with rider Marty Craggill about the Zen of pushing the 200MPH mark. After that Xcorps Films presents part#2 in the B.A.S.E. series with segment host and psycho jumper Ray Murphy returning to the screen this time from Copper Canyon Mexico where he and his friends jump the 3000 foot cliffs of this remotely exotic location. This is rare stuff with Ray being only the 5th person on earth to jump El Gigante! Multiple camera and POV angles here to help you gut feel the 20 second fall down a rock face. See what Ray says scared him the most as well as the chopper skid drop high over their campsite all as close to the edge as possible. Then J man Lazo rolls into Burbank to talk to the band powering the tunes in these jump segs – The Prom Kings – together only 6 months! Our cams caught mega record producer Fred Croshal there, this band is going places! See Joey, Mauricio, Luke and Chris jam the studio for the XC cameras and yes there is a piercing on camera done to document the times! Jason and Roz then intro a new segment addition to the show from producer Jason Rapp comes a huge motor madness look at the machines rolling Glamis dunes east of San Diego. See a Ford F150 stay airborne forever! Bikes, trikes, carts, ATV’s and custom rods along with riders on towed furniture and topless chicks. Throw in hard tunes by The Silence and some ugly wipeouts and you have the picture. The show wraps with Jason giving Roslyn a small beating and Bob Woodard previewing the next eXotic Xcorps episode - Hawaii. Protection MUST be worn when viewing this show! Music by Chron, The Prom Kings, The Silence and Paul Oakenfold. Ready Steady Go! J.S.Edmondson 7/03 TRT-29:30 Close Captioned 2007 The Xcorps - See the Action Hear the Music Join the Xcorps. < less

(3:00) Xcorps Action Sports Show #2.)"BASE"-seg2- The theme of emerging X sports, lifestyles and music carries on with this dangerous new episode of The X Corps which reaches all the way to Norway with a look at BASE jumping. The show opens with a sunny day at the beach in Santa Monica Ca with X team hosts Roslyn Bradle and Jason Lazo setting up to test ride the new ‘Skate Luge’ sitdown skate board fitted with the new ‘Skatebrake’. Check it out, a new way to stop a skateboard that really works! Next the show features a select corps of people who take jumping from 3000-foot sheer cliffs to a new level of fun danger and expression. See X Corps host and B.A.S.E. (Buildings-Antennas-Spans-Earth), jumper Ray Murphy – a pro sky diver with over 3500 jumps - plummet downward along a water fall at over 120 mph at the cliffs in Kjerag Norway. This area is considered the best B.A.S.E. jump zone on earth. New and unique styles of jumps are shown here including the near fatal ‘throw-off’ and the hilariously funny costumed ‘Udder Jump’. Dramatic multi camera POV angles put you there for the big drops pumped by music from the Maverick Records band ‘One Side Zero’. Girls can jump super big too! See Annie do her back flip off the cliff edge and watch her landing at the bottom. Sweet! After that Roz and J intro X Corps ‘Gadget Man’ Eric “The X Guru” Ducharme who demo rides the fresh and unseen BMW (yes the German car company), “Streetcarver” skateboard down the hills of Encinitas CA. Sweet and smooth can describe this new ride made from actual parts from the car line. See Eric power slide into the camera with tunes and live shots from San Diego bands “Honeybucket” and “Pivit”. Then X Corps host Bob Woodard surfaces after sunset in San Diego at the “Chamber” indoor skate park. Bob talks to Osiris pro skater Dave Mayhew. Hear what Dave has going and see his moves around the zone. Fun camera work and sweet skate runs by other riders including San Diego local Ray Gauthier. Roslyn and Jason wrap the show back in Santa Monica with another “Skateluge” run followed by a sneak look at an upcoming X Corps episode featuring the next generation of “Snow Bikes”. Check your gear before you jump! See The Action Hear The Music Join The Xcorps! 3/2002 TRT-29:30 Close Captioned J.S.Edmondson ©2007 The Xcorps < less

(9:05) Another great mix for you in this podcast. First off we bring you some of the riding highlights from the first year of the Maverix Snow Camp. We had a great crew who came out to shred the sick park in Les Deux Alpes this summer and take time to taste the flavour of the other slope offerings, including the infamous slush pools. The camp was a great success and we look forward to running it again next year. For more juice and other videos from the camp visit www.maverix.org and also look at the 2008 gallery - www.maverix.org/gallery08/ Many thanks to our snow camp supporters - Spazz Clothing, Fear of the Park and Conspiracy Board Store. We also have our video review from the FBBB comp at Tamworth. It was back in June when we made our visit to Tamworth, but due to the Snow Camp it is only now that we can bring you some of the sweet highlights from a great comp. The setup was sick, and I was gutted to be filming and not riding. For more information on the FBBB tour check out www.forboardersbyboarders.com The finish up we take you over to the east coast of the US with a teaser for a new movie that will be released this Fall. I Heart Snow Productions will be releasing their 'Back East' movie. This just shows how sick the riding is and how great the conditions and the parks are (contrary to popular belief).
