(2:12) Tahitian super talent Tamaroa McComb has won his second major junior title for the year by stitching up Australia's top under 21 surfers at the Billabong Pro Junior Series at Port Stephens. He was joined on the winners list by Kiwi rising star Paige Hareb, who took out the girls division. With two events remaining on the ASP Australasian Junior Series, the race is heating up to see who can qualify for the Billabong World Junior Championships at North Narrabeen next January. < less

(3:03) Xcorps Action Sports Show #17.)"JETBOARD"-seg2- The Xcorps talent team rolls into action again in this episode with Jason in Detroit jamming a local club with his band, Roslyn on the beach in California covering a skim board event, Bob test riding the revolutionary Jet Board and Eric putting on a huge extreme sports XPO in San Diego. The show opens with Jason in metro Motown talking about his band the Don Juan Invitation and the local music scene. Great original tunes here along with a special Xcorps tribute song. After that the camera shifts to host Bob Woodard at the XC test site at Irvine Lake California where Bob takes a look at a new way to ride the waves-on a Powerski! See how he does on his first ride on the board all pushed hard with a song and video from the Maverick Records band The Deftones. After break its over to Laguna Beach Ca where we find host Roslyn Bradle covering the niche fun beach sport of skim boarding or riding the waves that break on the beach. Laguna is all about the beach break and XC cams get lots of sweet skim moves by some of the best skim surfers out there all mixed up with music and shots from So. Cal based band LiT rolling their song. Roz talks with skim master and Common Sense band member Nick Hernandez about the history of the sport. The next segment rolls south to San Diego where host Eric Ducharme shows his skills at producing action sports events-this one called the Action Sports and Fitness Show held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Non stop big hucks here featuring huge air by skaters, mountain boarders and BMX freestylers pushing it to the beat from the chick Maverick band LilliX doing the old Romantics tune What I like About You. The show goes BIG with wild shots of tow in surfer Garrett McNamara outrunning locomotive waves at Jaws and Teahoopu Tahiti backed by tunes from MOWER. Hang on! The scenes are mellow here too with sweet Oahu island shots of rainbow framed beaches under the waving coconut palms. So Ono! After the break Jason goes from SCUBA to outrigger canoe and then on to the North Shore of Oahu to hang at the Hawaiimana beach crib and some surfing by team members Alisha and Davey Boy Gonsalves, Jason Miller and Oleema Miller. Then the X cams roll down the beach to V-LAND to catch rising NSSA surf champ Carissa Moore carving and rippin! Jason meets her on the beach for a little interview. She how she gets her training and hear her fun laugh! Jason samples some local flavor and crosses the island again to meet with open ocean stand up paddleboard master Aaron Napoleon who leads the Xcams offshore to the turbulent Molokai Channel for a look at this emerging challenging sport! It was a challenge getting these shots in the rolling big waves as Aaron paddled his 15-foot board up and down the deep blue victory at sea swells all captured for our viewers in HD! Everyone onboard was hanging tight as Aaron paddled the huge water edited with a fresh new music video from San Diego band My American Heart. Nice fit! Jason talks with the HawaiiMana man back at the boat. See what he says about the ride! The next segment rolls back to the shoreline to catch the voice of Hawaii fitness man Joe Teipel body surfing Sandys beach in style!
