I'm pretty sure that the freestylers back then were pretty bummed that we rolled up and just skated back and forth fast instead of staying in one place and bouncing on our trucks. Plus, I think each one of us won these contests. Probably got a trophy somewhere, funny. < less

Paintball is an action sport growing faster than snowboarding and is statistically safer than golf and in various forms has become part of X sports scene. The game is popular for its high adrenaline levels and can be played indoors or out though it requires one to be physically fit and mentally sharp to compete with success and not get marked .X Corps players Roslyn, Jason, Eric and Bob gear up with PMI Piranha paintball markers and a “Don’t Tread On U.S.” attitude. Squad leader and pro player ‘Achilles’ leads the way through various combat environments from tree covered hills and trenches to room to room urban duals all powered by fresh tunes from Maverick records including a cool song by the Paul Oakenfold-Ice Cube duo. Hear the semi-automatics pop with welts raised on X Corps players and opponents in scenes with Bob Woodard rushing an enemy truck, Eric Ducharme taking friendly fire, Jason Lazo as urban guerilla and Roslyn Bradle getting captured and slammed in jail. Feel what an ambush feels like in a training exercise massacre scene shown in slow motion involving compound Special Forces players. The horror! Also on this show is a new video from the Maverick records band Prodigy performing ‘Babys Got a Temper’. Got milk? Then XC hosts Roslyn and Jason test ride the cool new Big Boy Scooters in Santa Monica Ca. See the new V-5 full suspension 55 cc 4-stroke model perform in a race between the XC hosts. These units fold easily into a car trunk and are a blast to ride! See -www.bigboyscooters.com The show wraps with a coming soon preview and some sick helicam footage from the Long Beach to Catalina speed H2o races. This XC episode is an American original. WhooAAAhhh!!! This show is kicked with music from The Rolling Stones and Dr. Dre, Paul Oakenfold and Ice Cube, Prodigy, Deftones, Carla Werner and Perry Farrell. Train hard! Let’s Roll! The show opens with a sunny day at the beach in Santa Monica Ca with X team hosts Roslyn Bradle and Jason Lazo setting up to test ride the new ‘Skate Luge’ sitdown skate board fitted with the new ‘Skatebrake’. Check it out, a new way to stop a skateboard that really works!
Next the show features a select corps of people who take jumping from 3000-foot sheer cliffs to a new level of fun danger and expression. See X Corps host and B.A.S.E. (Buildings-Antennas-Spans-Earth), jumper Ray Murphy – a pro sky diver with over 3500 jumps - plummet downward along a water fall at over 120 mph at the cliffs in Kjerag Norway. This area is considered the best B.A.S.E. jump zone on earth. New and unique styles of jumps are shown here including the near fatal ‘throw-off’ and the hilariously funny costumed ‘Udder Jump’. Dramatic multi camera POV angles put you there for the big drops pumped by music from the Maverick Records band ‘One Side Zero’. Girls can jump super big too! See Annie do her back flip off the cliff edge and watch her landing at the bottom. Sweet!
After that Roz and J intro X Corps ‘Gadget Man’ Eric “The X Guru” Ducharme who demo rides the fresh and unseen BMW (yes the German car company), “Streetcarver” skateboard down the hills of Encinitas CA. Sweet and smooth can describe this new ride made from actual parts from the car line. See Eric power slide into the camera with tunes and live shots from San Diego bands “Honeybucket” and “Pivit”.
Then X Corps host Bob Woodard surfaces after sunset in San Diego at the “Chamber” indoor skate park. Bob talks to Osiris pro skater Dave Mayhew. Hear what Dave has going and see his moves around the zone. Fun camera work and sweet skate runs by other riders including San Diego local Ray Gauthier.
Roslyn and Jason wrap the show back in Santa Monica with another “Skateluge” run followed by a sneak look at an upcoming X Corps episode featuring the next generation of “Snow Bikes”. Jason Lazo opens the show from Southern California’s extreme sports zone-Hollywood Sports Park in Bellflower. Using props from the film industry this sports park rolls large with vast paintball and skate zones along with BMX tracks, arcades and other sports fun. Eric enters the paint pens armed with a XC digi cam to record his own demise at the hands of local youth. Tunes and film from Rive Video Promotions with the band Benumb shoving back hard. Eric checks out the BMX track with local rider Danny Downey who tears the track and inverts his Haro at will.
After the break Jason intros a new music video from Maverick records featuring the St. Louis band Story of the Year who kick the show up yet another notch!
Then Jason opens the title segment with the new motorized foot motorcycle called the Wheelman. Introduced on a previous Xcorps episode the Wheelman is currently being distributed in the U.S. and our Xguru along with Gravity Games street luge champ Rat Sult are the first to ride the new hubless unit off and on road in this crazy segment.
After that its back to Bob Woodard product testing a new way to skate on a 2 wheeled swivel truck board called Tierney Rides. See Bob roll this board with some snowboard moves on the San Diego Point Loma hills. Cool shots and moves from local rider Marcus on the multipurpose Carve Board along with some insane Tierney video from our friends at 4-Reel Productions in Lake Tahoe. Pennywise, Paul Oakenfold and Ice Cube add their say to the piece.
Then Eric returns back at the sports park and talks to inline skater Scooby who tells how long it took to learn his back flip 180. The wild clean outdoors fills the big screen in this show with the Xcams going wide to catch a gorge 2000 feet deeper than the Grand Canyon cut out by one of the longest and remote U.S. The show opens up with Jason near Whitebird Idaho-pop.150- dropping down to Pittsburg Landing in the Hells Canyon National Recreation area to meet with Eric Pardue from Killgore Adventures who provide jet boat river tours on the Snake and Salmon Rivers. Jason takes off up river in a custom Idaho made Bentz boat fitted with twin 350 V-8s that can handle the powerful big river whitewater with thrilling ease. Music from Bible belt band Ha Ha Tonka c/o Bloodshot Records and RIVE .
After that it’s time to HOOK UP with some Idaho style fishing of the BIG STURGEON variety and Eric from Killgore Adventures knows just where to pull the boat over and cast the lines! Great UW Xcam shots here of swimming Steelhead showing off Jason baits up a solid pound chunk of salmon belly on a barb-less hook and casts into a 70-foot deep hole in the river. As cameras rolled on cue he gets his Ugly Stick yanked and the reel starts screaming as the battle commences Ernest Hemingway XC style! The J man cranks and pulls hard for more than an hour. Finally Jasons muscle wins out and the big fish is pulled ashore, and BIG it is! Eric calms the ocean size fish by flipping it upsidown before measuring it with a full size tape measure! At nine feet and 250 lbs the catch is considered a rare Snake River Hog! Before letting it go Jason talks with Eric about the Sturgeon fish, which is estimated at 100 plus years old! A new way to surf the river XC Idaho style with bungee powered skimboarding from Banshee Riverboards. The Snake River delivers the fun by stretching out and loading up the giant rubber bands until the board clears the surface and takes off launching the rider upriver! See local riders rip N tear along with Laguna Beach Ca world-class skimmer Bill Bryan pulling smooth moves on the Snake . See The Action Hear The Music Join The Xcorps! Backed by pounding new music from Suburban Noize Records along with new videos from RIVE Jason talks to fight promoter Diana Ocampo about the rules of conduct in the newly sanctioned fights where just about anything goes and the action gets brutal! Sexy dance moves by the combat dolls back the action with DRT Entertainment band SOIL doing their song ‘Give It Up’ featuring a cool chick/dude fight video! See who wins!? The heavyweights bring it on in the 200+ category with Griggs VS Mejia slugging it out and making it done in one non-stop round. A lot can be said for Marine training with Griggs opening up in this punch fest with his big guns! This fight goes to the mat where kicking, kneeing and elbowing are all OK in this ring and it takes a lot of blood to get a ref to stop the battle! Suburban Noize band Mower cranks its song ‘General Admission’. Great Mohawk on announcer Manny Hernandez as he opens up XC show segment 3 with DRT Entertainment/Rive band 36 Crazyfists new video. Big Dudes Wadd and Robert slug it out slow motion style in this match up. One round and its over! The horror! Cool mix in the edit here with sand and band action rolling as one. Jason, Rat, and Eric bring it on again in segment 4 with some insane POV race footage between Rats rig and
2 other rods at full throttle! See who wins it! Tunes by punched up Suburban NoiZe band Hed Pe churning out their song Lock and Load. Nice fit. The show closes out with another dose of custom motor sports action with Xcams rolling on high powered ATVs digging sand trenches with X Clan turning their song Weapon X alongside. Sweet side by side action here with riders rocketing up Oldsmobile Hill.

Firestorms raged as gravity riders from around the world zipped on leathers, checked trucks and let it go at the IGSA sanctioned event organized by rider Frank Waterhouse who broke the course record on the closed stretch of highway not far from the Mexican border. Xcorps host Bob Woodard opens the show from San Diego riding the Speed Skater street luge equipped with the new SkateBrake.Papa Roach and Lo-Tel pump the action with X and Gravity Games winners like Rat Sult and the ever-loved Kludy pushing 60mph down the hair pinned and cliff edged coarse which offered no room for error. See riders in their best speed tucks and a sick head over heels wipeout by gravity bike rider Noah Rutherford who lives to tell the Xcorps cameras all about it. Inline speedskaters Dave Lambert and downhill champ George Merkert talk about their realm of the event and invite other skaters to go for speed while Donald Orlando shows off his 84mm 6 wheel skates he got up to 58mph! Nice. After that Xcorps guest host and gravity champ Rat Sult talks to the fiercest female competitor in the league Stacy Allen from Oklahoma and asks her how she got into the sport. Music from the Rolling Stones and Dr. Dre back the piece. After the break speed board legend Kludy talks to the camera about the effects of big winds on course speed. Frank Homemade Waterhouse wraps the shootout with his thoughts, more race action and some powerful shots taken from space of the fires that surrounded the event closing all exit roads. Many camped the night. Bob Woodard takes another luge run and opens for Xcorps host Jason Lazo who is in Detroit hanging with the So Cal band NHOI-Never Heard Of It- who are playing Saint Andrews Hall in the rock city. Jason talks with the band about their tour and proceeds to blow the place up!Additional music by the Deftones and Drowning Pool. See The Action Hear The Music Join The Xcorps! Jason opens the show from scenic Cardiff Reef California where a group of local watermen are on the beach talking about their recent ocean race paddling from the island of Catalina to the So California coastal town of Manhattan Beach – a distance of 32 miles! Jason talks to top seated arm paddlers Tim Fischer, Brian Szymanski and George Plsek about the endurance ocean journey which began back in 1928 with Tom Blake taking just under 6 hours to make the arm paddle trip.
After the break Jason and the X crew head to the North Shore of Hawaii to meet with big wave tow-in surfers Garrett McNamara and Kealii Mamala for a look at a niche end of surfing bringing on the biggest adrenalized rush! The boys from team Hawthorne are rolling their jetski and go big phat and fast for the Xcorps cameras! See them tow in to ride monster walls off the North shore at a break called Log Cabins, off Maui with the freight trains at Jaws and in Tahiti jamming the infamous teal tubes of Teahoopu.
See the details on the guys who ride and the state of the boards now used to roll these mega waves. Insane shots as usual including the wild tow rope cam and sweet sea turtle footage under the waves! SubNoiZe band Dirtball feeds the need here with their song I’m Not.
Jason opens the last segment from the Cardiff Reef beach with paddlboarder and local PIPES surf cafe chain owner Tim Fischer talking about how he felt at the start and end of a 32 mile open ocean paddle. Always the comedy on Xcorps!

Hosts Jason Lazo and Roslyn Bradle open the show from the beach in Santa Monica Ca where Jason talks about the south of the border shoot taken with a group of San Diego surfers. Follow them as they cross the border and head for Ensenada Mexico overcoming challenges such as a boat breakdown 10 miles off the coast. See how they eventually reach and ride the open ocean monster waves at a break called Killers!
Also on this show we go to exotic Hawaii to the island of Maui to visit and talk with Pipeline surf legend Gerry Lopez who invited our cameras into his home and onto his surfboard! Yes we attached a H20 cam to his board for some fun shots of the master carving some turns at HoOkipa beach park. See these exclusive shots and hear what Gerry has to say about the early days of Pipeline and why he missed the 1st Pipeline Masters surf event. Included are clips of fellow surfer Corky Carroll in Huntington Beach Ca with his side of the story! Who do you believe? While at his house we asked Gerry what kind of surf junk he had stored in his garage and scored big by turning up the original board from the 1978 Warner Bros. cult movie Big Wednesday starring Gerry and actors Jan-Michael Vincent, William Katt and Gary Busey. See what else the XC cams find in his garage and check the sweet bikini clad native girl swimming in nearby crystal waters. Smooth island music here from the local band Paradyse c/o Outrigger Hotels.
After that it’s back to California where Roslyn opens a segment with The X Guru - Eric Ducharme riding the new SiKK Bike – the worlds smallest motorcycle. Pretty SiKK and pretty fun!
Jason closes out the show from Todos Santos with a few more big waves along with a promise of the return of B.A.S.E. jumper Ray Murphy to the next show with his own version of SiKK action- jumping the sheer cliffs of Copper Canyon Mexico! Music by Soul Hooligan/Diana King, Sea Lords, Screamin Seamen, Prom Kings and Chron. Respect the Ocean. Mahalo. Trt: 29:30 6/2003 J.S.Edmondson Close Captioned
