All the knee-deep powder action -- from untouched lines to dangerous mini-avalanches -- is right here in the BackCountry Bombshells podcast. Each athlete on the trip is a standout on her own - from KRISTI LESKINEN, recent winner of the Action Sports Award's "Skier of the Year" and member of the FHM's 2005 "Hot 100" list, to world extreme skiing champion ANDREA BINNING. Lest we forget, X Games standout MARIE-FRANCE ROY and Swiss sweetheart ANNE-FLORE MARXER, who's coming off a killer 2005 rookie season. (7:22) It just goes to show that when you have the resources and the opportunity to get on snow at an early age you can accomplish great things. Maverix Snowboard Productions spent a couple of days with a crew of east coast rippers to see what they could do. We were not disappointed. The team was Kyle Mack (10yrs) with his brother Darren (6 yrs), Jacob Aaronsen (12 yrs), his sister Shana (10 yrs) and Jack Herald (11 yrs). These guys truly know how to ride with 7's being the flavour of the sessions. Already these kids have picked up sponsors like Burton, Anon, Oakley and Rome Snowboards. We cannot wait to see where these kids take it. Also in this podcast we bring you the teaser for the new Maverix Snow Camp that will be running three one-week sessions from late June on the glacier in Les Deux Alpes, France. Then we bring you home with a bang as we show you some highlights from the ATV Spring Session at Milton Keynes SnoZone. Kids from Europe and all over the UK showing off their skills. For the more cultured snowboarder we take you to France as we explore what its means to be a snowboarder courtesy of our friends at www.doublefilms.com. We then finish in France again with the teaser for the soon to be starting Maverix Snow Camp. Spaces are filling fast with a great mix of people due to be making the most out of the board test and freestyle/freeride coaching on offer during late June and early July in Les Deux Alpes. < less
