Globe's Skate and Create (05:28)

We skated, we created, we won, we lost? Transworld had this competition called Skate & Create and we were invited along with DVS, Emerica, Osiris to have five of our team riders spend 9 days in a secret warehouse skating and creating. We were stoked! We played along just fine and now you can judge for yourself how sick this all came out. While skateboarding isn't about winning, in this case, we feel like real winners.

My newly built 12ft vert ramp (03:37)

Just recently completed a dream of mine. I´ve always wanted to skate vert but had nowhere´s to practice it or even try it..........so I took matters into my own hands, saved up some money, and built my own 12ft indoor vert ramp, complete with a lounge at the top for chill time. This ramp was made by my brother and I love the turn out. After 3 days of riding, I made a silly mistake by not knee sliding and broke my ankle............what a loser! *sigh....

THE NICE PEOPLE AT C-4 BOARDWEAR BROUGHT US IN AND TOOK US TO THEIR NEW PLAZA STYLE PARK. ALBERTAN LEGEND ROGER BRUINSMA AND HIS CREW OF TRUSTY FOLLOWERS FROM LETHBRIDGE CAME OUT TO MEET US AND FLAVOR TO THE DAY. FROM THERE WE FOLLOWED THE LETHBRIDGE BOYS BACK TO THEIR PROVINCE AND HOMETOWN FOR SOME WELL DESERVED REST COURTESY BARRY SELK. Andrew LaPenna Tre Flip 8 set + Kills rails (01:05)

Andrew LaPenna is the newest member of the Meanwhile Skateboards team. We met up with him in Nashville to skate at 2 public skate parks: Metro and Franklin. Andrew is so consistent at landing tricks I had to separate the Metro footage and the Franklin footage into 2 different video parts because he was landing more than falling. He's not the most tech skater out there but he can skate most any terrain at full speed and land rolling out smooth. Watch this video of Andrew from the Franklin skate park -- you'll see what I'm talking about. This footy is from Saturday August 9th, 2008. Andrew is from Chapmansboro TN, just turned 17 a few days ago and is looking for a shoe, wheel, bearings and truck sponsor. Maverix Snowboard Podcast 33 - Rome & Burton Groms kill it (07:22)

It just goes to show that when you have the resources and the opportunity to get on snow at an early age you can accomplish great things. Maverix Snowboard Productions spent a couple of days with a crew of east coast rippers to see what they could do. We were not disappointed. The team was Kyle Mack (10yrs) with his brother Darren (6 yrs), Jacob Aaronsen (12 yrs), his sister Shana (10 yrs) and Jack Herald (11 yrs). These guys truly know how to ride with 7's being the flavour of the sessions. Already these kids have picked up sponsors like Burton, Anon, Oakley and Rome Snowboards. We cannot wait to see where these kids take it.
