Xcorps Action Sports Show #18.)"MTN.BOARD"seg3- Xcorps host Eric Ducharme and 20 other dirt board skaters roll down the infamous Nate Harrison grade on the backside of Californias Mt. Palomar in this grassroots speed driven episode. All terrain skating also known as mountain boarding is a hybrid sport that has taken skating to a whole new grass roots level of adrenalized excitement. Once again Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling on the action as boarders ripped down the 7 miles of rough fire road on the historic Palomar Mtn which is topped by the famous observatory. Race rules were simple- fastest time to the bottom of the mountain wins. The show opens fast and hot as the X Guru and other boarders strap themselves to their specialized skateboards, which have pneumatic tires, and spring suspensions that help handle the bone jarring washboard ride. Dirt riders roll hard in show scenes backed by Maverick Records band One Side Zero. See the dust and gravel fly as Eric and the guys and one gal-Julian Lewis- slide into the hairpins. Lots of cool POV and multi angle speed shots here along with some brutal wipeouts. Most riders do wear full protective gear resulting in a good survival rate. Eric then talks to race organizer Rob Eakle about the grass roots event and the sponsors that make it happen. After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with the band Skinny Puppy showing some major break skills in their new video called Pro Test directed by William Morrison. Very hip shot and edited film backed with tunes by a world-class band. The next segment rolls right into another new video from RIVE and Side One Dummy Records with the band Flogging Molly rocking a punk Celtic-Core Irish jig called Drunken Lullabies. See band member and pro skater Matt Hensley huck some sweet street skate moves here along with more dirt skate scenes with Eric from Mt.Palomar. Nice dusty wipeouts too! After that the X Guru interviews NHG 7 mtn board 1st place race winner Krazy Kris Kidwell and 2nd place winner pro Akoni Kama who talk about their recent gigs. The show wraps with more dirt skate action from Palomar including 4 year old Damian Hurtenstein showing his young board skills followed by a look at some core dirt board action scenes from the video Flirt With Dirt by Damon Krouse. Xcorps Action Sports Show #13.)"WHEELMAN"-seg3- Bending the bounds of sanity this episode of the Xcorps rolls at the viewer at double blink speed with the usual action and music and a look at new products like the rim drive foot motorcycle from Australia called the Wheelman and a new skate board concept called Tierney Rides all tested hard by Xcorps host Eric Xguru Ducharme and Bob Woodard. Jason Lazo opens the show from Southern California’s extreme sports zone-Hollywood Sports Park in Bellflower. Using props from the film industry this sports park rolls large with vast paintball and skate zones along with BMX tracks, arcades and other sports fun. Eric enters the paint pens armed with a XC digi cam to record his own demise at the hands of local youth. Tunes and film from Rive Video Promotions with the band Benumb shoving back hard. Eric checks out the BMX track with local rider Danny Downey who tears the track and inverts his Haro at will. After the break Jason intros a new music video from Maverick records featuring the St. Louis band Story of the Year who kick the show up yet another notch! Then Jason opens the title segment with the new motorized foot motorcycle called the Wheelman. Introduced on a previous Xcorps episode the Wheelman is currently being distributed in the U.S. and our Xguru along with Gravity Games street luge champ Rat Sult are the first to ride the new hubless unit off and on road in this crazy segment. After that its back to Bob Woodard product testing a new way to skate on a 2 wheeled swivel truck board called Tierney Rides. The YMCA owned skatepark designed by Andy McDonald & California Skate Parks and features a monster X-Games donated vert ramp, a Tranny, Street, Vert Ramp and Mini Ramp included in the 40,000 Sq Ft of terrain along with a combi-style pool by Wally Holliday that to many is the best skate park pool built in SoCal! Great music backing the action here from Sub NoiZe label band XClan. Check. Xcorps Action Sports Show #12.)"LUGE"-segs1and2- Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling at a grassroots guerilla style gravity sports event we call The Barrett Junction Shootout featuring downhill luge, stand up skate board, inline speed skate and gravity bike racing held at Barrett Junction near San Diego Ca. Firestorms raged as gravity riders from around the world zipped on leathers, checked trucks and let it go at the IGSA sanctioned event organized by rider Frank Waterhouse who broke the course record on the closed stretch of highway not far from the Mexican border. Xcorps host Bob Woodard opens the show from San Diego riding the Speed Skater street luge equipped with the new SkateBrake.Papa Roach and Lo-Tel pump the action with X and Gravity Games winners like Rat Sult and the ever-loved Kludy pushing 60mph down the hair pinned and cliff edged coarse which offered no room for error. See riders in their best speed tucks and a sick head over heels wipeout by gravity bike rider Noah Rutherford who lives to tell the Xcorps cameras all about it. Inline speedskaters Dave Lambert and downhill champ George Merkert talk about their realm of the event and invite other skaters to go for speed while Donald Orlando shows off his 84mm 6 wheel skates he got up to 58mph! Xcorps Action Sports Show #24.)"RCX"-seg3- This nitro powered episode of the Xcorps introduces the viewer to the adrenalized world of 1/8 scale top fuel remote control trophy car racing at the ARC track in Murrieta California, pro Disc Golf in Washington D.C and 2nd generation jet H20 X board action in Maui Hawaii. The show opens with speed junkie host Rat Sult fully involved and charging his number 4 car to the lead of the screaming pack. These RC racers start at over a thousand dollars and take remote control racing to the 60 mph 30 foot airborne level. Lots of sweet crashes here too. Rat talks with pro racer Paul Coleman about his strategy for a win. Maverick Records band Unloco along with Suburban Noize label band KottonMouth Kings keep the piece off the ground and rolling hard. In the next segment Rat thros to host Bob Woodard seaside at the Carlsbad lagoon testing the X Board – a new H2o jet powered surfboard from a company called CyberAds. Watch sweet bikini clad girls riding these X boards fast and smooth in California and Maui Hawaii edited to a cool and freaky animated video from Rive Video featuring the RoadRunner Records band To My Surprise doing their song In The Mood. After the break Rat returns to intro XC host Eric the X Guru Ducharme in Washington D.C. covering the sport of Disc Golf at one of the oldest disc courses in the U.S.-Calvert- near the University of Maryland campus. The disc golf concept follows traditional golf with 18 holes- metal chain baskets- with an average par of 3 per hole. Specialized discs are used for drives, mid range and putt shots. Eric shows his throwing skills and talks with pro disc golfer DJ Wimer about his 1st cash win and asks player Pete Okorn for 3 words describing the growing sport. Xcorps Action Sports Show #14.)"BASE" DIRECTORS CUT- Those fearing heights beware -this episode of the Xcorps freefalls right over the edge with guest host and world class B.A.S.E. jumper Ray Murphy dropping into a 1200 foot glory hole in Mexico called Cave of the Swallows. For the ultimate in ground rushes Ray and 5 loco amigo hombres from the States -Matt McClone, Jeremy Brice, Morgan Moert, Travis Meimann, and Dan Langstraat strap on parasails that look like small backpacks and launch themselves into the massive underground void where very few have gone before. Surreal action scenes here along with great tunes by Off by One, Drowning Pool and cool new breakout band from New England- Jediah all mixing well with the ambient cave audio echo. B.A.S.E. jumpers-Buildings-Antennas-Structures-Earth are an insane and growing niche of adventurers who first must do thousands of jumps from aircraft to learn the needed skills to jump closer to earth. The viewer is pulled downward with adrenalized clarity into one of the largest limestone sinkholes on the planet The Cave of the Swallows near the remote town of Golondrinas in Eastern Mexico. The hole is 1200 feet deep – a seven second 100 mph B.A.S.E. drop into an echo chamber filled with sound of screaming freefalls and the wail of thousands of swallows and parrots living in the vertical cave walls. The show opens with a sunny day at the beach in Santa Monica Ca with X team hosts Roslyn Bradle and Jason Lazo setting up to test ride the new ‘Skate Luge’ sitdown skate board fitted with the new ‘Skatebrake’. Check it out, a new way to stop a skateboard that really works! Next the show features a select corps of people who take jumping from 3000-foot sheer cliffs to a new level of fun danger and expression. See X Corps host and B.A.S.E. (Buildings-Antennas-Spans-Earth), jumper Ray Murphy – a pro sky diver with over 3500 jumps - plummet downward along a water fall at over 120 mph at the cliffs in Kjerag Norway. This area is considered the best B.A.S.E. jump zone on earth. New and unique styles of jumps are shown here including the near fatal ‘throw-off’ and the hilariously funny costumed ‘Udder Jump’. Dramatic multi camera POV angles put you there for the big drops pumped by music from the Maverick Records band ‘One Side Zero’. Girls can jump super big too! Xcorps Action Sports Show #41.)"HAWAIIMANA"-seg3- The Xcorps goes BIG ALOHA with host Jason Lazo back in Hawaii covering a mix of cool action X fitness events sponsored by mega nutrition maker HAWAIIMANA producer of the HawaiiMana Challenge. The show goes BIG with wild shots of tow in surfer Garrett McNamara outrunning locomotive waves at Jaws and Teahoopu Tahiti backed by tunes from MOWER. Hang on! The scenes are mellow here too with sweet Oahu island shots of rainbow framed beaches under the waving coconut palms. So Ono! After the break Jason goes from SCUBA to outrigger canoe and then on to the North Shore of Oahu to hang at the Hawaiimana beach crib and some surfing by team members Alisha and Davey Boy Gonsalves, Jason Miller and Oleema Miller. Then the X cams roll down the beach to V-LAND to catch rising NSSA surf champ Carissa Moore carving and rippin! Jason meets her on the beach for a little interview. She how she gets her training and hear her fun laugh! Jason samples some local flavor and crosses the island again to meet with open ocean stand up paddleboard master Aaron Napoleon who leads the Xcams offshore to the turbulent Molokai Channel for a look at this emerging challenging sport! It was a challenge getting these shots in the rolling big waves as Aaron paddled his 15-foot board up and down the deep blue victory at sea swells all captured for our viewers in HD! Everyone onboard was hanging tight as Aaron paddled the huge water edited with a fresh new music video from San Diego band My American Heart. Nice fit!
