Aaron & Austin in Lincoln City (04:11)

Took a couple of local Waldport skaters down to the parks(s) in Lincoln City. Neither of em had been there before and they were both stoked to skate on some new terrain. The upper parks in LC was one of the first parks I ever skated in LC. Still one of my favorites. And now there is a third bowl there with concrete pool coping, too.

Andrew LaPenna Tre Flip 8 set + Kills rails (01:05)

Andrew LaPenna is the newest member of the Meanwhile Skateboards team. We met up with him in Nashville to skate at 2 public skate parks: Metro and Franklin. Andrew is so consistent at landing tricks I had to separate the Metro footage and the Franklin footage into 2 different video parts because he was landing more than falling. He's not the most tech skater out there but he can skate most any terrain at full speed and land rolling out smooth. Watch this video of Andrew from the Franklin skate park -- you'll see what I'm talking about. This footy is from Saturday August 9th, 2008. Andrew is from Chapmansboro TN, just turned 17 a few days ago and is looking for a shoe, wheel, bearings and truck sponsor. Sick and Twisted Big Air Comp @ Alpine Meadows (01:01)

tThe Toyota Snowbomb / Alpine Meadows Sick and Twisted Big Air competition was Sunday, March 9. This HUGE competition included $5000 in cash, and great sponsor prizes. This year’s cash purse was Snowbomb’s largest sum to be awarded. The event was a “big air” format in which competitors hucked a custom-built step-down jump at the bottom of Alpine’s terrain park while performing some of the sports’ latest tricks. Local and regional pros and amateurs of all ages of men’s and women’s ski and snowboard classes were included. The event’s venue was the Kangaroo lift, adjacent to the base lodge. Each competitor received an hour of practice; competitors were scored on the best of two runs by official judges. Winners will be determined by amount of air achieved, style, trick difficulty, and, of course, whether or not the competitor sticks the trick!

Xcorps Action Sports Show #36.)"SKATE"-seg3- The action and music roll tight in this Xcorps episode featuring pro skaters from the Warner Bros.sponsored Andale Tour at one of the best skate parks in So Cal.-San Diegos Clairmont skate park. Hosted by Bob Woodard and Jason Lazo this cool skate themed show rips big from the start with the Andale Tour Posse Danny Gonzales, Patrick Melcher and legend Steve Caballero pulling moves for the Xcorps HD cams. Also in the show is some great freestyle BMX action along with new music and videos from Suburban Noize bands KINGSPADE and the RIVE promoted band CLUTCH. The YMCA owned skatepark designed by Andy McDonald & California Skate Parks and features a monster X-Games donated vert ramp, a Tranny, Street, Vert Ramp and Mini Ramp included in the 40,000 Sq Ft of terrain along with a combi-style pool by Wally Holliday that to many is the best skate park pool built in SoCal! Great music backing the action here from Sub NoiZe label band XClan. Check. The action continues cut with the new Kingspade band video ‘Who Run This?’ Nice moves by all the skaters on the Andale team wrapping up a 12-city U.S. tour branding the Warner Bros Speedy Gonzales character. Local SD hombre John Tuisl rolls BIG in the combi pool-one sweet grind after the other! Then DRT entertainment and RIVE promoted band Clutch jams the blues with their song Electric Worry mixed with another set of Andale Tour skate moves.Bob sets up a sick new move by Steve Caballero. After relentless attempts see what made him a legend who is still pulling moves! Bob talks with Cab along with Danny and Patrick about the tour and the signature street board. After that its all Southern California with a 30-minute sunset squeezed to 20 seconds rolling with Kingspades song So Cal Weather. Nice fit. Also Xcorps HD cams hung at the park later in the afternoon to catch some sweeeet freestyle BMX moves by the locals to go with the tunes. XC host Jason Lazo phatens up the segment with a cutaway rap with the Kingspade boys- DLoc and Richter at their label in LA. See what they do at home to relax! The show closes out with Bob touring the park specs on his own board stepped by tunes from Brooklyns original XCLAN featuring Daddy X doing the song Locomation. Xcorps Action Sports TV #18.) MTN.BOARD seg.3 (05:48)

Xcorps Action Sports Show #18.)"MTN.BOARD"seg3- Xcorps host Eric Ducharme and 20 other dirt board skaters roll down the infamous Nate Harrison grade on the backside of Californias Mt. Palomar in this grassroots speed driven episode. All terrain skating also known as mountain boarding is a hybrid sport that has taken skating to a whole new grass roots level of adrenalized excitement. Once again Xcorps cameras were the only ones rolling on the action as boarders ripped down the 7 miles of rough fire road on the historic Palomar Mtn which is topped by the famous observatory. Race rules were simple- fastest time to the bottom of the mountain wins. The show opens fast and hot as the X Guru and other boarders strap themselves to their specialized skateboards, which have pneumatic tires, and spring suspensions that help handle the bone jarring washboard ride. Dirt riders roll hard in show scenes backed by Maverick Records band One Side Zero. See the dust and gravel fly as Eric and the guys and one gal-Julian Lewis- slide into the hairpins. Lots of cool POV and multi angle speed shots here along with some brutal wipeouts. Most riders do wear full protective gear resulting in a good survival rate. Eric then talks to race organizer Rob Eakle about the grass roots event and the sponsors that make it happen. After that Eric intros a new video from our friends at RIVE with the band Skinny Puppy showing some major break skills in their new video called Pro Test directed by William Morrison. Very hip shot and edited film backed with tunes by a world-class band. The next segment rolls right into another new video from RIVE and Side One Dummy Records with the band Flogging Molly rocking a punk Celtic-Core Irish jig called Drunken Lullabies. See band member and pro skater Matt Hensley huck some sweet street skate moves here along with more dirt skate scenes with Eric from Mt.Palomar. Nice dusty wipeouts too! After that the X Guru interviews NHG 7 mtn board 1st place race winner Krazy Kris Kidwell and 2nd place winner pro Akoni Kama who talk about their recent gigs. The show wraps with more dirt skate action from Palomar including 4 year old Damian Hurtenstein showing his young board skills followed by a look at some core dirt board action scenes from the video Flirt With Dirt by Damon Krouse. Xcorps Action Sports Show #10.)"HAWAII"-seg.3- This episode of Xcorps takes the viewer to the supreme destination of Hawaii for a multi island tour c/o Outrigger hotels and resorts with XC host Bob Woodard fishing monster marlin, riding ATV’s and surfing the waves of Waikiki in this exotic looking show. California girl and XC teammate Roslyn Bradle opens the show from her pacific home on the beach in Santa Monica with some jive on Bob about his Hawaiian assignment. Go girl! Tough job Bob gets up with the Kona dawn and boards the sports fisher Intrepid in search of the elusive one ton blue marlin. Always bringing you the best in alternative sports action see the big Hemingway/Grey style hookup and the brute battle between man and fish. See both sides win in this match. Great CW fish tunes here from the band The Dorados. After that Bob opens a segment on speed wind surfing on the ocean off Maui with pro boarder Chip Pennel who we fitted with a full blown helmet cam package for some super clean POV shots Xcorps style. See the action and hear the music by the Maverick records band Prodigy pumping this fast moving piece. Then it’s back to Bob this time on the island of Kauai riding ATVs – thats all terrain vehicles- at his own speed – FAST! Check out the action and great scenery here with Bob cruising areas where the feature films Jurassic Park 1&2 were filmed. Lots of mud flying with new tunes from San Diego band UNDERshade. Rolling in after that Roz opens to Eric The X Guru and a special segment on the action sport of mountain boarding or off road skate boarding. Eric is an authority covering the sport since it surfaced almost 10 years ago. Check out Erics own moves and shots from past events including that of XC host Jason Lazo with the first mtn. board the SuperCruizer. The band Unloco rocks this segment hard to the end. Topping off this eXotic island visit is a look at some true Hawaiian action from Iffy who is a champion fire dancer. See his fiery moves and watch the sexy island girls perform to the authentic island band Paradyse playing at the Wailea Marriott luau.
