I have Asperger's syndrome (a form of autism) and I like to skateboard in overalls. I started skateboarding at age 27 in early 2004, and it suddenly let me out of my shell and make friends for the first time in too many years. However, it was only once I decided to skate in overalls in 2006 that I started to get tricks down - I actually proved that overalls are the only way I'm comfortable to skate! I still have to learn to ollie; my problem is that my muscles are too weak to give enough pop, having hated sports and physical activities throughout my entire school tenure - I even had to get exempted from gym/PE in middle and high school. But thanks to the Skateboarding Explained DVD, I promise I'll get my ollie down soon! My dream is to meet, and possibly follow, Rodney Mullen: not only do I hate jumping onto obstacles, preferring to stick to flatground, I also share a love for classical music with Rodney to the point where I hardly listen to anything besides classical when I'm by myself. < less
