Early Season Sessions

The season’s started, the snow is fresh, and you're just getting your legs back. Think it’s going to be an epic day? Then grab your camera and tell us the story behind your early season sessions.

The top 20% highest rated films will be judged by:

The winning film will get $3,000, be featured on NewSchoolers.com, and has the possibility of being licensed to Super Channel.

The rules are simple: make a short (10 minutes max) documentary-based film (not just straight ski porn!) on an early season session. Take some time to tell us the story of your day, what went into it, what you did, and how it went. Edit it all together (make sure you have the rights to any and all music you use otherwise you will be disqualified) and then upload your video to Super U's Early Season Sessions contest page.

The contest opens at 12:05 am PST November 11, 2008. Upload your film until 5:00 am PST December 22, 2008. Your friends and fans can vote on all entries until 5:00 am PST January 5, 2009 to determine the top 20% finalists. The winner will be announced on January 19, 2009.
