Highwood Pass is one of the highest paved roads in North America. Long boarders bomb both the North and South side of the pass. The road is closed from Dec 1 to Jun 15. The main reason for the closure extending to June 15 is due to avalanche danger. Predator also moved there in the late eighties. < less
