“At last!” shouted the grumpy little hamster. “Now I can finally get some sleep.” The little hamster was a crud; sarcastic, Devonian that was always putting everyone including himself down. He had the largest cage in the store equipped with the best of everything, such as a three-gallon water bottle with a built in filter. Selfishly he always took advantage of his fabulous life. He’s been giving nothing but T.L.C. his whole life making him seem ass that but really deep down he is just a big crybaby. His name was Kyle.
“Gahh” Kyle mumbled as he was getting out of bed, “why isn’t the night longer, I’ am still tired, I’m supposed to wake up refreshed and rejuvenated!” slowly he scampered along the finely cut wood chips over to his diamond studded food bowl to see if his masters had refilled it with the most expensive chicken-n-such cat food that he ate every morning. Distorted and with a grimace on his face he yelled “what the heck man I need my chicken, are you guys trying to make me stare. Heaven forbid how hard could it be?” usually his masters would‘ve come running to his plea, but they were nowhere to be found. Nevertheless he stated, “ okay you guys just wait and when you need your breakfast bowl filled I wont be there for you.” So Kyle began to think on the where-a-bouts his masters have gone to. He thought to himself “I bet there’re just at Petco or the mall picking out some new clothes for me or something to surprise me with.” But his masters were gone for quiet some time and that’s when Kyle began to worry a little bit but not too much because he’s just so perfect and doesn’t have to worry about a thing.
Kyle loved running around or should I say rolling around the house in his giant padded plastic ball. It was around five o’clock when his masters picked him up and out of his cage to set him in his. Well when five came around and then six right after, the hours seemed endless and Kyle was really beginning worry and even panicked. Circling his humongous cage, he’d glance over at the front door and the hallway leading to the garage every three seconds. Frantically he busted out into tears, weeping he crawled into his super maximum comfort mini queen size bed and cried himself to sleep. The dreams Kyle had were unimaginable, he thought his masters had abandoned him. Tossing and turning all through the night he awakened to the sound of the front door slamming along with the pitter-patter of the masters shoes banging and scraping against the wood flooring. Sparingly, like some kind of superhuman jump he sprang over to the corner of his cage, closest to the front door. Wide-eyed and not one bit drowsy with his little paws clinching the cold black bars that constructed the gage. His masters waltzed into the living room making tons of racket, when Kyle heard a bark, at first Kyle thought to himself “why are my masters so late, and why are they barking” but by that time his masters had set an small plastic cage that looked like a cardboard box compared to Kyle’s massive steel cage. Every five seconds the strange bark would startle Kyle, on the other hand the night progressed and his mind ate him up with “what is making all that noise? When is it ever going to shut up? It has to be a retarded hamster.” Morning came around with Kyle still eye-ballin the little dinky cage. When his masters came and put the wiener dog named slick, into Kyle’s cage. They stared each other down for a good long time. Then Kyle went over to greet slick and show him whose boss, yet when he reached about halfway that wiener dog had sprang up and bit the hamster killing it instantly.
