This was uploaded just after ESPN cancelled/reinstated the vert contest in the X-Games… claiming vert was “dead” and wasn’t worth their time. Vert is clearly not dead. I can’t skate vert, because I don’t skate vert. I don’t hate ANY type of skating. Those who do, aren’t real skaters. I don’t thank “vert.” I thank Tony. And Lance, Bucky, Cab, McGill, Hensley, Magnusson, etc. etc. and Powell Peralta, H-Street… for showing me that being an outcast in the 80s wasn’t a big deal and skating is GD fun!
