Really appreciated your time. Wonder if all vert skaters know the trick name and dynamics of the “Unit”. Im anxious to ask. None of my immediate skaters knew that. I posted up a picture of you with myself on Shred or Die – few years back. Its special to have your critique. Thanks! Is it too much to ask you to look at current video postings and project if I am qualified to skate in a damn am or phoenix am or tampa am? Jason Maxwell (my team sponsor with Syndrome) just last week gave me a green light to try to enter one or more of these events. I have purposely held off until my sponsor believed I could possibly skate at a level commensurate with those events. Anyway, no feelings hurt and alot to gain from someone like you that could tell me what to work on better or assist in goal setting.

Thanks again!

actually, that first one was a Unit – which is harder than a Miller Flip. It was the first type of 540 ever done on a skateboard (invented by Billy Ruff). Very few people can do it anymore… so keep it up!

I love the outdoors, friends and family. Skateboarding has been a huge part of me since 6yrs old. Raquetball, Skateboarding and Snowboarding are on the high list. Skeet Shooting, SCUBA Diving, and Dog Sledding are few apart but great fun. I am proudly sponsored by Syndrome Distributors (PlanB, Silver and FKD manufacturers) and recently received product directly from Jaimie Thomas at Fallen Shoes. I have skateboarded in national competitions. Have never been in a national magazine. Goal is to get assistance with tripping out to national events to compete/socialize and get some national exposure in mags. Also continue making great friends along the way. reach me at 281-693-6909 and rthompson1000@comcast.net and www.ryanrthompson.com < less
